Our Montage Avance has been patented in France since
the early 1960's. It is a different way of tying a dry fly - there is
no head, the tying operation ends behind the hackle, giving it a conical
shape, the hackle as well as the body.
We sincerely believe that we have been producing the
most beautifull and the most efficient May flies for the last 50 years.
We can produce these flies using 2 hackles of the same
colour, of different colours, a CDC feather and a hackle, or a hackle
and a soft hackle (partridge). The very same fly can be proposed to
you in regular versions or in C version, which means CDC!
We can tie the patterns with straight wings, 90 degrees
wings, 130 degrees, and wide opened wings.
